Grants available for community groups and charities benefiting people in Thornhill

Groups can apply for up to £3000 or £12,000.

Applications will be considered from constituted not-for-profit community groups and organisations and registered charities working to benefit people in the Thornhill area.

Applications must be made to the Community Council in the first instance.

Groups wishing to apply for more than £12,000 must first submit an initial proposal which will be reviewed by the decision making Panel. This is a group of residents from the 12 communities benefiting from the Scottish Hydro Clyde (Dumfries & Galloway) Community Fund.

Further funding rounds for 2014 will be announced in due course.
